POLICE are asking anyone who recognises a man caught on video burgling a Downend opticians to call them.
The man, who was wearing a distinctive Chicago Bulls jacket and jogging bottoms with a ‘drop crotch’ almost down to the knee, stole sunglasses, iPads and other property from Norville & Dobinson opticians at the Willow Shopping Centre.
He threw a rock through the glass door of the shop before climbing through at around midnight on June 5.
Police issued CCTV footage at the end of September of the man, who is described as white and about about 6ft tall.
After filling a carrier bag with the stolen goods, he left on a mountain bike.
