CHILDREN have been stepping on to school stages across the area to captivate their families in nativity plays.
Among the schools where pupils have been learning songs and lines, rehearsing and performing are St Augustine of Canterbury Catholic Primary School.
Children in Year 1’s Elm class and Year 2’s Maple class performed together in their show, called simply The Nativity.
At Hambrook Primary School Year 1 and 2 children also performed together in their retelling of the Christmas story, called Gabriel’s Big break.
Meanwhile the youngest children in Reception also learned songs, lines and parts for their own Nativity performance.
