HAMBROOK Primary School has named Avon County Tennis School of the Year, for its commitment to developing opportunities in the sport for all children over the past year.
PE lead Maisie Welch said: “Judges praised the high standards of participation, coaching and enthusiasm shown across our tennis programme, reflecting the dedication of our children, staff and external providers.”
The school was presented with the award in March and will now go on to a Lawn Tennis Association national contest.
