MANGOTSFIELD United have handed over a donation of more than £1,300 to charity Children’s Hospice South West.
The Cossham Street club raised a total of £1,368 over the season with the help of sponsors and supporters, through events including a raffle with prizes donated by local businesses.
The charity helps children with life-limiting conditions and their families, including at its Charlton Farm hospice at Wraxall, and relies almost entirely on public donations.
CHSW area fundraiser Liana Sommers thanked the club and long-standing supporter Richard Iles for their continued support.
She said: “Community fundraising like this makes a real difference, helping us to provide vital care and support to children and families who need it most. It’s wonderful to see local businesses and the community coming together in such a meaningful way.”
