ORGANISERS of this year’s Heathfest have revealed details of the acts who will be entertaining festival-goers.
Maria and the Wilds, Kris Nock’s Big Band, the Frampton Shantymen and local singers the Bromley Heath Choir are among the acts who will take to the stage at Bromley Heath Playing Fields on June 20.
Elsewhere there will be inflatables, fairground rides, sports activities and stalls selling toys, ice cream and sweets, as well as family activities, a range of food and a bar.
Organisers of the volunteer-run festival are also encouraging everyone to take part in the fundraising raffle, with prizes donated by local businesses, and to “bring along a picnic blanket, relax with family and friends, and enjoy a wonderful day celebrating the local community”.
The event runs from 11.30am until 7pm, and advance tickets are on sale at £2 for adults and £1 for children at ticketlab.app/series/2613 or via the Heathfest Facebook page.
The festival team is currently looking for volunteers to help throughout the day in roles including stewarding, helping on the entrance gate and providing first aid support.
