CHILDREN, families and staff of a Downend nursery held a fun day to help Children’s Hospice South West.
The annual summer party at Red Bus Nursery in Downend Road raised a total of £1,115 for the charity, and included activities and a raffle.
CHSW runs three hospices across the region, including Charlton Farm at Wraxall, North Somerset, and says it costs almost £16 million to its services for babies, children and young people with life-limiting conditions and their families running.
Area fundraiser Liana Sommers said: “We are so grateful to the team at Red Bus Nursery for their wonderful support.
“Fundraising like this makes a real difference to the children and families we care for, and it’s heartening to see the nursery community come together with such enthusiasm and generosity.”
