POLICE have seized five stolen bikes during an operation to crack down on anti-social riding.
Members of the Staple Hill and Kingswood neighbourhood teams and the force’s violence reduction unit took part in the “proactive” local operation on October 4.
The neighbourhood policing team said: “During this operation police located five stolen motorbikes, we engaged with e-scooter riders and gave two e-scooter warnings and identified a male riding a motorbike antisocially, who we will be looking to deal with by the way of antisocial behaviour interventions and traffic legislation.
“We urge the public to contact us if you see any motorbikes which look abandoned or have ignition damage.
“Please ensure you aware of the laws regarding e-scooters before riding on public land.”
